U.S. President Donald Trump, while taking questions from reporters in the White House Rose Garden on Monday, insulted a female reporter - an exchange that was edited in the official transcript to change Trump's meaning.

Trump berated Cecilia Vega, an ABC News reporter, as he took questions from the press. "She's like in a state of shock", he joked. Trump instantly shot down the question suggesting that Vega was out of line because the subject of the press conference was the forthcoming trade deal.

"That's okay. I know you're not thinking", Trump said. He said he'd be fine answering the question but wanted to focus on trade first, even though that is 100% not how news conferences work.

When Vega paused to ask what he'd said - "I'm sorry?" - the President sought to move things along.

US Ordered to Halt 'Humanitarian' Iran Sanctions in Blow for Trump
Following the ICJ verdict, Iran's foreign minister called on the global community to collectively fight US unilateralism. Iran brought its case before the ICJ in The Hague, Netherlands, in July.

Feinstein had asked for a "clean" bill that would restore the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program without any new funding for Trump's long-promised border wall.

There's a pattern: President Trump has a habit of belittling women he is scared of and women he can not control.

Ms Vega later posted a message on Twitter, defending her position of asking non-trade questions at the press conference.

The result: He managed to avoid answering hard questions. "You've had enough", he yelled before turning to another reporter.

But Trump ignored her, telling one of his staffers to pass the microphone to another reporter. I mean, he talked about things that happened when he drinks - this is not a man that said... that he was ideal with respect to alcohol.

Trump again lashed out at the media over their coverage of Kavanaugh and also referenced a Democratic senator in freaky threat: "I've seen that person in very, very bad situations, somewhat compromising".

In the White House's official transcript, however, the comment is recorded as "I know you're not thanking".

When Collins protested, Trump wagged a finger and said, "Don't do that". What a mess I would be.
