The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback started his protest of police brutality and racial injustice in 2016.

Canadian teen soccer star Alphonso Davies is among the athletes featured in a new Nike campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick that's drawing attention worldwide.

Looks like Nike is "sacrificing everything" including sales after rolling out an ad featuring Anthem-kneeler Colin Kaepernick.

Stills, who talks often with Kaepernick, said he senses increasing support for the protesters as their cause is better understood.

Trump tells Apple to make products in US to avoid China tariffs
But 2018 imports from China through July were up almost 9% over the same period of 2017, according to US Census Bureau data. Apple has warned that proposed United States tariffs on China could force it to raise the price of many of its products.

On Wednesday, amid the thick of the controversy, Nike unveiled another part of its collaboration with Kaepernick.

The next step in the Nike campaign comes Thursday night when its first commercial called "Dream Crazy" - narrated by Kaepernick - is reportedly set to air during the National Football League season opening game between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles.

According to ESPN, Gino Fisanotti, a Nike vice president of brand for North America, said: "We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward". Kaepernick is suing team owners for allegedly colluding to keep him out of the NFL. "I stand for anybody that believes in a positive attitude", LeBron James said Tuesday night at a Nike fashion show and awards ceremony in NY. I wonder if they had any idea that it would be this way?

The college revised its sports contracts in October 2017, adding a stipulation that all participating coaches and players "show respect for the American flag and national anthem", the release said.

Dominic Thiem , of Austria, reacts after losing a point to Rafael Nadal , of Spain, during the quarterfinals of the U.S. At the end of four hours and 49 minutes, at 2:04 am NY time, that's the word Thiem was left ruing.

"Investors on Robinhood are buying Nike stock 300% more than they are selling, compared to 12% last week", Sahill Poddar, the app's data scientist, told Business Insider on Tuesday. At a rally in Alabama past year, Trump said team owners should "get that son of a bitch off the field" if a player knelt in protest of injustice during the anthem.

Kaepernick tweeted out a photo from the campaign on Monday.

Nike recently signed an extension to its deal as the NFL's official uniform sponsor.
