Trump Mueller investigation: President could take LEGAL ACTION against any court demands

Over the weekend, the Washington Post reported that Trump was allegedly anxious about his son getting wrapped up in Robert Mueller's investigation as a result of the Trump Tower meeting. She suggested, however, that Trump's supporters in the Republican Party just might choose to defend him if it is proven that his campaign did indeed collude with Russian officials ahead of the 2016 presidential elections.

On Sunday, US media including the Washington Post, CNN and AP reported that Mr Trump was anxious Donald Trump Jr could be in legal trouble because of the 9 June 2016 meeting with Ms Veselnitskaya.

But the President, who has insisted there was no collusion, tweeted last night: "Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower".

President Trump asserted that the Trump Tower meeting was a routine part of politics and was "totally legal and done all the time".

"The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it's TRUE".

White House proposed increasing tariffs on $200B in Chinese imports
Further roiling the trade debate is the falling value of the Chinese currency, which makes its exports cheaper around the world. Two Trump administration officials told reporters on a conference call that Trump remains open to communications with Beijing .

Amid the fallout, Trump Jr. even released his own emails regarding the meeting, which proved that it had been pitched to him, by music publicist Rob Goldstone, as a meeting with the "Crown prosecutor of Russia" who had "offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russian Federation and would be very useful to your father".

Trump Jr. has shifted his explanations for his Russian meeting.

He tweeted in July 2017: "Most politicians would have gone to a meeting like the one Don jr attended in order to get info on an opponent".

Trump and his son have both said then-candidate Trump had no advance knowledge of the meeting and that the meeting itself was not useful to the campaign. They cited multiple unnamed sources.

Arsenal striker Lacazette: I never said Aubameyang arrival bad for me
It's a very big club - coming into a big club you need a trophy, so if you don't win the league, you need to win the others. Unai Emery has confirmed that summer signing Lucas Torreira will make his Arsenal debut against Lazio this weekend.

And they said Trump Jr., Kushner and White House staffers had made a "full disclosure" about that session to Mueller and Congress.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has denied allegations by USA intelligence agencies that his government meddled and Trump denies collusion, describing the Mueller investigation as a political witch hunt that should be shut down. White House Press Secretary, at the time, Sean Spicer said there was no evidence to believe "there was anything except for discussion about adoption and the Magnitsky Act".

What is new from the president's comments Sunday is his declaration that the meeting is "totally legal". The surprising claim in Trump's tweet is that it is legal for a campaign to get information from a foreign entity about a political opponent.

"The question is what law, statute or rule or regulation has been violated and nobody has pointed to one", Sekulow said Sunday. Working with a foreign national with the intent of influencing a US election could violate multiple laws, according to legal experts.
