U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman said Sunday that it is "highly unlikely" President Trump would back off condemnation of the annexation of Crimea in his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Speaking in an interview with CBS Evening News conducted on Saturday, ahead of his meeting with Mr. Putin in Helsinki on Monday, Mr. Trump also sought to temper expectations about how much could be achieved. "I'm not going in with high expectations".

The United States has no extradition treaty with Moscow and can not compel Russian Federation to hand over citizens.

"I never thought I would see the day when our American president would stand on the stage with the Russian president and place blame on the United States for Russian aggression", Sen. She added that Trump also said: "Don't walk away".

"Well, I might", the U.S. president said.

Huntsman added: "The collective blood pressure between the United States and Russian Federation is off-the-charts high so it's a good thing these presidents are getting together".
