Authorities have saidthe military-grade nerve agent, Novichok, is the same used against former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury in March.

Her partner Charlie Rowley, 45, remains in a critical condition after the couple fell ill on June 30.

The head of UK Counter Terrorism policing, Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, said Sturgess, a mother of three, died as the result of "an outrageous, reckless and barbaric act".

The police are working to ensure that her family have all the necessary support that they need at this extremely hard time.

Police said the British couple were believed to have become exposed to Novichok by handling a "contaminated item", with speculation that it could have been the container used to administer the nerve agent to the Skripals.

Russian Federation has denied any involvement in the poisoning of Skripal and his daughter Yulia with a nerve agent that was developed in the Soviet Union. The British government identified substance to which y were exposed as belonging to Russian-made chemical weapons family known as Novichok, and directly accused Moscow of attack.

Wade is overturned", one Democratic aide told TIME last week, referring to the landmark 1973 Supreme Court case on abortion. He recently voiced disagreement with a court decision allowing a teenage unauthorized immigrant to get an abortion.

The situation is declared a "major incident" and counter-terrorism police take the lead in the investigation.

Mr Peskov said the investigation and what was happening in the Salisbury area was a British issue which had nothing to do with an upcoming summit between President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.

More than 100 police officers have been working to locate a small vial or other container thought to have held the nerve agent that sickened the two.

Salisbury District Hospital's medical director, Dr. Christine Blanshard, said the staff "worked tirelessly to save Dawn".

The Kremlin has said that it was sorry to hear about the death of Ms Sturgess, but said that any suggestion that Russian Federation was involved would be "quite absurd".

The BBC has reported that the risk of Novichok contact to the general public remains low. Both survived the exposure and have since been discharged from the hospital.

Japan floods: Death Toll Climbs to 94
With emergency rain warnings lifted, the country is now turning its focus to search and rescue efforts. The front then remained in one place for an unusually long time , the JMA said.

Sources said the searches were now focused on the hostel in Salisbury where Ms Sturgess had been living and the housing association home in Amesbury belonging to Mr Rowley, to which the couple had travelled on the evening before they fell ill.

On Monday, authorities evacuated a bus in the city centre and, for a few hours, established a wide security cordon around it, raising fears of another nerve agent incident.

Britain blames the Russian state for the attack on Sergei Skripal and his 33-year-old daughter - an allegation Moscow strongly denies. Following the poisonings of the Skripals, the USA, United Kingdom and European allies expelled dozens of Russian diplomats.

Three other men who were also in the van that day have been screened as a precaution, but are not showing any signs of having been exposed to novichok, Mr Basu said.

Both were determined to have been exposed to the nerve agent after touching a contaminated item with their hands, police said.

Honourable Members may also be aware that a police officer working on the investigation presented at Great Western Hospital and was later transferred to Salisbury District Hospital as a precautionary measure.

A police officer in Britain is being tested at a hospital in Salisbury for possible exposure to the nerve agent Novichok . Sergei and Yulia Skripal were poisoned in southwest England not far from where Sturgess and Rowley live.
