A tiny submarine is on its way to Thailand, sent by Tesla CEO Elon Musk to help rescue the remaining members of a youth soccer team who are trapped in a cave. On Monday, four more were rushed to a hospital.

Monsoon flooding prevented the group from escaping and from allowing rescuers to find them right away. Rescue operations have halted for the night and will restart on Tuesday.

Hours later, Musk shared video of the narrow, bullet-shaped tube being maneuvered through an underwater obstacle course with the assistance of two divers. Authorities have said the mission could take up to four days to complete and heavy rain is forecast in the coming days.

When Sgt. -Maj. Saman Gunan, a former Thai navy Seal, died while laying oxygen tanks along the route out of the cave, people grieved and became fearful about what could lie ahead for the team. Last week, Musk sent engineers from two of his companies, SpaceX and Boring Co., to assist Thai officials in the rescue effort, which comprises a large team of global diving, engineering and medical experts, among other professionals. Those conditions won't last if the rain resumes, he said.

He told reporters the four rescued boys were taken to the hospital in the town of Chiang Rai, the provincial capital, for evaluation.

Weather: Dangerous heat wave will make it feel like 105 degrees Monday
There were fewer than 400 Con Edison customers without power as of 6:42 p.m., but power issues are more likely in extreme heat. Given it's the first heat wave of the summer, it is important to remember and practice hot weather safety measures.

The Australian foreign minister, Julie Bishop, said in a TV interview on Monday morning she believed the boys would be brought out in groups of four. We've got good news for you. Cave exploring is something they usually do after practices, but this excursion proved costly after they were trapped by the heavy rains. There was some rain on Sunday, which caused some water to go into the cave, but officials were able to pump an nearly equal amount of water out. But Osatanakorn said the boys are being fed Congee, Chinese rice soup.

Just a few kilometres from the lush forest that covers the mountainside of the Tham Luang cave, four boys dressed in their white school uniforms shoot hoops on an outdoor basketball court in Mae Sai. However, it is unclear if the device is part of any current rescue plans. But officials decided "the risk of leaving them there was greater".

Rescue operation paused for 10 hours as teams prepare. Rescuers sought to take out the boys in the weakest condition first.

According to the Associated Press, a Thai official revealed that the healthiest boys were taken out of the cave first. The operation began at around 11 a.m. local time on Monday and is expected to finish for the day around 9 p.m, reported the BBC. It takes several hours.

Eight of the 12 boys, ages 11 to 16, and their 25-year-old coach remained stranded as of Monday morning.

Authorities temporarily stopped their efforts Monday to replenish air tanks along the cave's treacherous exit route.

So far, four boys out of the 12 trapped are confirmed to have been rescued from the cave.

Chiang Rai health officials have told the Thai media that the families of the children can see them later tonight but "no hugging, no kissing" until their blood results are known. "Four boys were brought out today".

How will the kids' mental health be effected?

"If not, perhaps it will be in a future situation".

"There's a likelihood of resilience, assuming everyone comes out, there's no fatalities, I think the worst is behind them", Adesman said.

Horner believes Mercedes showed signs of vulnerability in Austria and hopes his team can up the pressure and force more errors in the future.

Plans called for the boys to be placed in ambulances and given medical assessments.
