Milwaukee Bucks center Thon Maker was one of 13 players ejected for fighting after a massive brawl broke out between Gilas Pilipinas and Australia during the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers in the Philippines on Monday. Bucks' Thon Maker and former NBAer Andray Blatche were part of the incident.

Australia was leading, 79-48, with about four minutes left in the third quarter when Philippines player Roger Pogoy appeared to elbow Australia's Chris Coulding in the jaw.

The Boomers next play in September when the second round of FIBA World Cup qualifying commences and they will face home and away games against three nations out of Kazakhstan, Qatar, Iran and Iraq.

In a statement following the brawl, Basketball Australia chief executive Anthony Moore condemned the incident and said that the Boomers would accept the consequences. This is assault! Spats and occasionally fights happen in a game, but for a bench to clear and players, support staff, arena employees to start kicking, stomping, throwing chairs - it is ASSAULT!

Severe economic pressure sows discontent in Iran
Gingrich, Giuliani and other United States politicians have been well paid to speak at the annual Paris rally in recent years. In 2009, the European Union struck the Mujahideen from its list of terrorist organisations, where it had been since 2002.

There was no press conference following the game, but Naredo reported that FIBA will study game reports from technical delegates to referees before handing out possible suspensions or other disciplinary actions.

"We had our players, team management and coaches in fear of their physical safety, that's a fairly compelling set of circumstances - [they were wondering] are we going to get out of here unscathed?" That isn't out of the ordinary this time of year but, in the midst of a blowout in favor of Australia, things escalated into a full-blown brawl on the floor.

The International Basketball Federation is expected to deliver punishments to the offending players.

"We apologise to our fans and will await the penalties to be handed down".

Anthony Kennedy to retire from Supreme Court
Jerry Johnson , president of National Religious Broadcasters, joined many in noting the importance of Kennedy's replacement. But fast forward just months later in January 2017, following Trump's presidential win, and McConnell had a change of tone.

"You've seen the [videos on] social media where [Boomers player] Nathan Sobey is being assaulted by a fan, we've got Chris Goulding [under] a pack of players and officials, prone on the court".

Moore acknowledged that players on both sides had transgressed, describing Kickert's actions as "a challenge to defend" and "an unsavoury incident".

Gilas lost by default, 53-89, as Fajardo and Norwood intentionally fouled themselves out of the game.

FIBA says a decision will be announced in the coming days. We will continue the game.

Lionel Messi fans ecstatic as Argentina enters round of 16 — FIFA WC
We played similarly against Lionel Messi and Argentina. "Now we can focus on preparations for the knockout stage", said Badelj. But Crespo - who scored 35 goals in 64 games for Argentina - said the dependance made complete sense.
