TeamTalk are citing a report from AS that claims Ronaldo has chose to leave Madrid after they refused to meet his salary demands following talks over yet another contract extension.

Economic issues is not the problem for the 33-year-old forward but a lack of recognition, leaving Ronaldo to look at Serie A, Ligue 1 or the Premier League as his potential destinations. "In the coming days, I will give a response to the fans because they actually have always been at my side".

Should Ronaldo find himself a club willing to buy him, Real would accept as long as it allowed them enough money to purchase Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

The left-back also talked about whether Neymar can be Ronaldo's successor.
