The Blues lost back-to-back games against Manchester United and Manchester City and now sit in fifth position, five points behind fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson was disappointed with defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

With a massive Champions League second leg against Barcelona on Wednesday, Conte's lineup will give a clear indication about his priorities for the remainder of the season. Here is our predicted XI.

Despite the numbers supporting Willian's inclusion in the team, Conte insists his defensive work is equally important.

That has left them out of the Champions League qualification places in fifth place - and they will remain there whatever happens tomorrow.

Countries, companies race to make deal with Trump on tariffs
Last year, China imported 3.2 million tons of US coal, worth about $420 million and almost five times the amount it took in 2016. Republican Senator Jeff Flake, a critic of the president, said he would introduce a bill to nullify the tariffs.

Roy Hodgson sent on Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha for the second half in place of Benteke, and it nearly paid off instantly.

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has trained all week and could feature, having fainted at the Blues' training ground ahead of their loss to Manchester City last weekend. Countering this, Palace are without a win in six matches and have lost their last three games with the squad shorn of key players.

The gaffer hints that he trusts the two forwards but refused to guarantee them a place in the starting line-up against Palace.

Moses was on the bench for 90 minutes as the Blues did the needful to get all three points from Saturday's game at Stamford Bridge. Conte played without an orthodox striker, as Eden Hazard forlornly led the attack, with the hosts cruising to victory.

Chelsea made the early running in a muted Stamford Bridge atmosphere and nearly broke the deadlock after only nine minutes when Wayne Hennessey kept out an effort from N'Golo Kante as striker Olivier Giroud tried to make contact just in front of him.

Free agent CB Sherman to visit 49ers
In fact, The Athletic first reported that Sherman had dinner with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan on Friday night. General manager John Lynch recently noted it doesn't take a "savant" to see the 49ers need cornerbacks.

After successive starts against Spurs and United, a third could follow at Chelsea, and Hodgson hopes we are witnessing the start of a promising Premier League career.

Conte said David Luiz and Ross Barkley were injured and he had to "check a couple of situations", without going into further detail.

"I think we created a lot of chances to score a lot of goals and we conceded to make it 2-1 at the end and, for sure, there was a little pressure", he told BT Sport.

"There aren't too many positives I can take playing Chelsea away".
