  • MARCH ANDROID SECURITY UPDATE NEXUS PIXEL

Today, Google Lens is escaping the clutches of the Pixel brand and expanding to all Android devices through the Google Photos app.

Google has been developing newer versions of Android every year and the latest version of Android that was released in the third quarter of 2017 was named as Android 8.0 Oreo.

All Android phones are now getting one of the Pixel 2's most useful features: Google Lens. Although it hasn't been made available to all users, most people with Google Photos will get it and it's been announced that soon it shall roll out for iOS as well.

Le Drian's team has made it clear to Tehran that he is no "emissary of Donald Trump", and wants to preserve the nuclear deal. The deal took effect in January 2016.

Google is finally bringing Lens, its visual search engine to all Android devices.

You can of course do those other things through other apps, but Google is hoping that you prefer to have it accessible on your Photos app and maybe soon, on your Google Assistant. In order to use the Google Lens in an Android smartphone, all you need to do is to choose a picture from the Google Photos app.

But don't get too excited yet; even if you upgrade your OS and Google Photos, Lens may not immediately appear. The tool leverages Google's artificial intelligence (AI) efforts and computer vision to analyse photos to display relevant information.

Google Lens is able to identify paintings and artwork.

Google Lens is not only limited to historical buildings or business utilities. It must be pointed out that users should have the latest version of the app to use Google Lens.
