Despite Mueller indictments, many Republicans doubt Russian meddling happened

Trump's tweet is his latest attack on his attorney general over Russia and special counsel Robert Mueller's probe, which returned 13 indictments against Russians last week for their alleged role in meddling in the 2016 election. This helps explain why Trump failed to impose sanctions that Congress passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, why he bizarrely proposed setting up a joint cybersecurity task force with the same government that conducted a major cyberattack against the United States and why he keeps acting as Russian President Vladimir Putin's chief apologist in the West.
In a hearing on global threats this month, National Intelligence Director Dan Coats said, "There should be no doubt that Russia perceives that its past efforts have been successful and views the 2018 midterm USA elections as a potential target for Russian influence operations".
Reporting on the Mueller indictment, the New York Timesheadlined its article, in typical Gray Lady fashion, "Moscow's Hand Swirled in USA, but Whether It Tipped Election Is Unclear".
But from here on out, there will be ironies, paradoxes and unintended consequences with just about everything Mueller does. He also has yet to levy any sanctions on Russian Federation for the election meddling, even though Congress past year passed legislation requiring him to do so by January 29, 2018. Two-thirds of Democrats even think Russian Federation hacked vote tallies (a charge that has not been in any official investigation); most of the public overall disagrees.
Chiefs to trade Marcus Peters to Rams
Kansas City last month traded quarterback Alex Smith to the Redskins for cornerback Kendall Fuller and a third-round draft pick. Earlier this week there were reports that the Chiefs were looking to trade Peters but would need a haul in return.
How should the USA retaliate? We can't help but wonder why there is so much evidence of contacts between Trump people and top Russians. Steele did not register as a foreign agent.
What followed was a two-day Twitter tirade that was unusually angry and defiant even by Trump's standards. One, he is easily extraditable while the Russians are not.
US President Donald Trump nearly broke the internet after he boasted that he has been more "tough" on Russian Federation than Obama, causing upheaval among TV pundits and the blue check-marked know-it-alls of the twitterverse.
Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats, a former Republican US senator, testified there should be no doubt that Russian Federation views its efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential campaign as successful. We don't know whether it will lead to Donald Trump or not, but it already has ensnared his former associates.
Celebrities Who Tied The Knot In 2018 - So Far
Bear-McClard is a producer whose best-known project is probably last year's crime drama Good Time , starring Robert Pattinson . The images also included Instagram personality The Fat Jew - who showed his support for Planned Parenthood in branded joggers.
But the strongest response to the Justice Department's indictment came from our own intelligence community, which raked Trump over the coals for refusing to condemn the Kremlin for its duplicitous cyber war on our elections.
Steele himself probably lied to the Federal Bureau of Investigation went he claimed he had not leaked the dossier's contents to the media. "They do not understand the trajectory of this investigation". We now know from documents that he drafted a statement about the conclusion of the investigation even before he met with her. That being the case, how could Mueller not bring charges? But the press Secretary of the White house remembered the series of actions of trump, from which "Russia is not happy". But neither likely happened.
Mueller obviously isn't a McCarthyite, and can't be held responsible for the hysteria - and hopeful expectations of an impeachment-level event - that has built up around his work. Due to the shenanigans of his discredited friend Comey and a rabid media, he was appointed to investigate crimes that did not exist. Some have also said it was also because Obama wanted Russian Federation to play a greater role in the negotiations with Iran about its nuclear program.
Investigating any possible crimes committed by members of the Clinton campaign or the Obama administration apparently is taboo, given the exalted status of both.
