A college near Seattle locked down its campus for about two hours on Friday, prompting police to respond to reports of gunfire that turned out to be unfounded, according to the college and police.

Police swarmed the campus and evacuated buildings, and the school told students and staff around 10 a.m.to remain locked down until their building has been cleared.

UPDATE: South King Fire reports that - as of 9:59 a.m. - "There are no known victims at HCC".

The first alert went out at 8:55 a.m., advising all "to lock down all offices and classrooms until further notice".
