HTC seems to be in a tough spot, as its smartphone chief just announced his resignation effective immediately. However, it remains to be seen how active HTC will be in that sector, now that its talented mobile team is over at Google.

The handset should then go on sale sometime in March or April, competing at the high-end segment of the smartphone market. It will be a dual-camera flagship phone by HTC.
