Despite subpoena, Bannon won't appear before House Intelligence Committee

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon will not be testifying on Tuesday before the House Intelligence Committee as had previously been scheduled.
That's according to White House chief of staff John Kelly.
The apparent reticence by the former Breitbart News executive chairman, who has also been subpoenaed as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, left lawmakers frustrated Monday.
The postponement of Bannon's interview came as the House panel voted unanimously Monday to release the Democratic memo, sending it to the White House for a legal and national security review.

Nunes was asked during a January 29 committee meeting whether he had coordinated the memo with the White House.
