Several party leaders said that they are not happy with the centre budget session 2018.

An emergency meeting called by Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP), today will decide the future of the alliance with the BJP. Last week he also hinted at the breaking of a long alliance with BJP.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is planning to start fight against the Center on the injustice done to the state in the recent budget, received phone call from Home minister. "Though gross injustice was done to Andhra on account of bifurcation, I aligned with the BJP only because having good relations with the Centre could undo the injustice", Naidu apparently told the TDP leaders.

TDP President Naidu will hold a meeting of party's Parliamentary Committee in Amaravati and will meet senior MLAs and leaders to review ties with the ruling BJP.

On his part, Naidu told Rajnath that both people of the state and TDP ranks were unhappy with the treatment meted out to Andhra Pradesh in the Union budget. TDP is an old ally of the BJP.

This strategy would be announced after a meeting of TDP Parliamentary Party at the CM's official residence at Amaravati on Sunday. "If the Centre fails to deliver we will protest inside the house and also outside", the minister said.

The Shiv Sena, another key ally, said it remained to be seen how much of the presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday was implemented on the ground. Although it was widely speculated that some drastic decisions would be taken, the BJP's central leadership reportedly intervened and averted an immediate crisis.

Ahead of the meeting, party MP Kesineni Srinivas said there would be detailed discussions with Naidu.

Lack of Andhra-centric sops in the Budget has brought the rift between the TDP and the BJP out in the open in recent days, said a report by News18.
