Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm have never really left the radar since their collective debut in 1996 - though things have been pretty quiet on the music front since their last reunion.

Fans have joked about "white powder" spotted in the background of a Spice Girls Instagram picture celebrating their reunion.

"Love my girls! So many kisses!" The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together, the statement continued.

With rumours abounding that the 90s pop superstars are reuniting next year, there are fresh reports that one of the girls is holding out.
