Havat Gilad, a community of a few hundred Israelis, is among these rogue outposts and is located deep inside the West Bank, away from areas Israel expects to keep under any peace deal with the Palestinians.

In December, Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, breaking with decades of USA policy that the city's status must be decided in peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.

Scores of Palestinians threw stones at the Israeli forces as they moved into Burqin, Reuters reported.

On January 9, Shevach was gunned down by Palestinian terrorists while on his way home to the northern West Bank outpost.

They did not, however, catch the man considered to have led the attack on Shevah, 22-year-old Ahmed Jarrar.

The apex court also reinstated 12 members of Parliament who had defected to the Opposition and lost their seats previous year . Human rights group Amnesty International said the court decision should be a turning point for the nation.

"We promised and the proposal to normalise Havat Gilad outpost as a regular community will be brought to the cabinet for approval this coming Sunday", Lieberman wrote on Twitter.

"We vowed to build the land of Israel", says Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) ahead of the meeting.

The decision was approved unanimously by Israel's cabinet.

Soldiers used loudspeakers to demand the suspect surrender.

All Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are illegal under global law but Israel differentiates between settlements it has approved and those it has not. "To those who sanctify death, we will sanctify life", said Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Protests Against Compulsory Hijab Continue, Iran Police Arrests 29 Girls
Tehran police said on Thursday that the campaign had been instigated from outside Iran through illegal satellite channels. It also states that women should cover themselves from head to toe while disavowing any figure-hugging dress.

It comes after a senior leader of Hamas said the U.S. decision to add him to its list of global terrorists would not change the Islamist militant group's "positions and policies".

"Whoever thought that through the reprehensible murder of a resident of Havat Gilad, a father of six, that our spirit can be broken and we can be weakened, is making a bitter mistake", Netanyahu said.

His cousin, who has the same name, was killed on January 18 after a ten-hour military operation by the Israeli army, in what Palestinians believe was a case of mistaken identity.

He said that another policy guideline of the government is to strengthen settlement.

"A month ago our dear friend Raziel [Shevach] was murdered and instead of sitting here and mourning we decided that we would not give in and we fought together with his widow Yael to have a cemetery built here, to have him buried here and to have Havat Gilad recognized".
