Trump Blames Samsung for FBI Agents' 50000 Missing Text Messages

  • The FBI IS hiding something over Hillary and Russia probes, say majority of public amid growing text scandal - and half want a second special prosecutor

In their statement, Congressmen Schiff, Cummings, and Nadler dismissed allegations that the FBI was biased in its investigation of alleged ties between the president and Russia-asserting the bureau's actions helped President Trump while hurting Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The two were found to be having an affair; Strzok, a senior counterintelligence official, was reassigned from the Mueller probe after the discovery of the text messages between them.

Trump and conservative allies have pointed to the messages in an aggressively targeted campaign to suggest the special counsel investigation is a "witch hunt" perpetrated by anti-Trump investigators.

Ratcliffe, a former USA attorney, the messages show "extreme bias" and he would like to see a top secret memo detailing secret surveillance of members of the Trump campaign be made public - along with FISA warrants used to begin the surveillance.

The DOJ has turned over hundreds of pages of text messages totaling more than 50,000 text messages between Strzok and Page.

Rocket Lab now has five Electron vehicles in production, with the next launch expected to take place in early 2018. The company has become the second in the world to have put something in orbit, and New Zealand the 11th nation.

The release of two pages of text messages exchanged between the two officials comes a day after Attorney General Jeff Sessions acknowledged that the FBI's information system failed to preserve five months of text messages between the two officials, both of whom had worked on Mueller's staff.

The texts between Strzok and Page, would have covered a period during the Trump transition, running up to the time that Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation began. The two exchanged roughly 50,000 texts - there are not believed to be 50,000 missing texts. The same officials told Fox News they are also making every effort to track down the physical cellphones in question so they could be subject to a forensic review.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson said an informant has said there is a "secret society" of the Federal Bureau of Investigation that's trying to undermine the Trump Administration, and there's proof that the society was holding off-site meetings outside the Justice Department, he told Fox News on Tuesday night.

"What this is all about is further evidence of corruption, more than bias", Johnson said.

"You and I both know the odds are nothing", Strzok wrote to Page about Mueller's upcoming investigation into ties between Russian Federation and Trump's Republican presidential campaign.

Snow to Start Sunday, Majority to Come Monday
The metro will see snow showers move in by daybreak Monday morning and cause slippery conditions for your morning commute. Snow will continue all day Sunday with snow totals on the warning map below taking most of the day to accumulate.

"He doesn't really want to join [the Mueller investigation] because his gut sense is there's no big there there", Mr. Johnson told Mr. Weber.

The Senators' letter asks Horowitz (1) to explain why he did not previously disclose the FBI's failure to provide the missing texts, and (2) to inform the committees about the steps he is taking to investigate the circumstances surrounding the missing texts.

The missing messages have caused problems for the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General.

It "is harder and harder for us to explain one unusual coincidence after another", said Rep. John Ratcliffe, Texas Republican and a House Judiciary Committee member. Other messages also disparaged other political figures, including Democrats.

Kentucky man says he will plead guilty to assaulting Sen. Rand Paul
Paul and Boucher's neighbors have also voiced much speculation, saying that the two had had a fraught relationship for years. It was one of the more infamous (and weird) neighborhood scraps, and now there's a federal felony charge attached.
