National Football League star threatened to sexually assault officer's wife

According to the Broward County Sheriff's Department, Anderson was arrested early Friday morning in South Florida.

Shortly after news of Friday's arrest broke, the Jets issued a statement regarding Anderson's situation.

Anderson was also arrested on a felony charge of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of police a year ago after an altercation at a concert in Miami. According to the radio station, Anderson was going 105 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone.
