The autopsy, acquired by TMZ Sports and the Tampa Bay Times, also revealed Halladay had traces of three prescription drugs in his system, including morphine.

Two-time Cy Young Award victor and former Phillies ace Roy Halladay had evidence of morphine, an amphetamine and a sleeping aid in his system when he fatally crashed his plane off Florida's gulf coast in November, according to multiple reports. His blood-alcohol content level was 0.01.

Zolpidem, the generic name for Ambien, and amphetamines were also found in Halladay's system.

The private plane, which belonged to Roy Halladay had just been removed from the shallow waters off Ben Pilot Point in New Port Richey where it crashed Tuesday, killing the 40-year-old former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher.

Halladay was piloting his own private plane when it plunged into the Mexican Gulf past year.

The autopsy, released by the medical examiner in Pasco and Pinellas Counties, Florida on Friday, determined the all-star pitcher died accidentally from blunt force trauma with drowning as a contributing factor.

A day after the crash, a spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board said there are witnesses who saw Halladay flying his plane at a low altitude before crashing into the water.

During his 16-year career, Halladay finished with a 203-105 record with a 3.38 ERA.

The NTSB report did not identify the cause of the crash. He won the 2010 National League Cy Young Award and pitched a flawless game while winning 21 games in his first season with the Phillies.
