Just weeks after handling a security flaw that allowed people to access Mac operating systems without a password, Apple is now facing a new threat: a "text bomb".

iOS 11.2.5 is no more than a bug fix release and does not bring anything new to the table in the features department.

To try to see if the fixes that Apple incorporated into iOS 11.2.2 to guard against these exploits really did crash the performance of the A8 chip, I searched for results of iPhone 6/6 Plus devices running iOS 11.2.2.

chaiOS was first uncovered by Abraham Masri, who tweeted about the bug.
