Snapchat gets "A Look Back at 2017" memories feature

It probably pains Snapchat to hear how many people enjoy Snapchat features on apps created by one of its biggest rivals, but that's exactly what's happening these days.
To further boost engagement and gain more users, the company is designing a feature that allows users to share stories outside the main app.
Snapchat is reportedly working on expanding its Stories feature outside of its own app for the very first time with a new initiative called "Stories Everywhere". Since Facebook and Instagram copy Snapchat's features, Evan Spiegel's social media site suffered with decreasing user engagement. But unlike say a Twitter or a Facebook post, you can not embed Snapstories elsewhere. If you are looking under "Stories" or "Camera Roll", you won't be able to find it.
Snap is also considering allowing other apps to access its feeds of user-generated content, which are now curated by a mix of algorithms and Snap employees.
Snap hired Rahul Chopra, former NewsCorp executive and he is now the CEO of Storyful. Effectively, Snapchat'sStories Everywhere product is aimed at making it easier to discover videos shared in the app on other websites and apps.
