The game was tied 10-10 at halftime, and the Bulls trailed by a touchdown entering the fourth quarter.

Prentiss Nixon drilled a 3-pointer at the buzzer and scored 14 points to lead Colorado State to a 68-66 win over Long Beach State on Saturday. Facing fourth and three, the Red Raiders chose to go for it, but Shimonek was sacked by Senat for a loss of 10 yards.

Texas Tech's defense started the Birmingham Bowl well.

Toward the end of the first quarter, the Red Raiders called a fake jet sweep and Shimonek threw it to Stockton for a gain of 21 yards, putting the Red Raiders on the goal line.

Mourinho also escaped with just a warning after he accused City of making "tactical fouls" in his pre-match press conference. Injury analyst Ben Dinnery did note Valencia's year could be over if a hamstring strain is confirmed, however.

Texas Tech finished the season 6-7, and the Bulls finished 10-3. Earlier in the drive, Coutee had another big play with a 20-yard reception, and Shimonek threw a 17-yard pass to King just before the pressure got to him.

On offense for Texas Tech, it should be another lethal passing attack led by former Iowa transfer Nic Shimonek. With 16 seconds left to play, Flowers floats one to McCants down the sideline for the go ahead score.

The Red Raiders' defense forced USF to go three-and-out, and the Red Raiders started on their own 35-yard line. But a double-tipped end-zone interception of Shimonek by Jaymon Thomas turned them away without any points. Still, Shimonek put Texas Tech in a position to win, but the Red Raiders' defense just couldn't contain Quinton Flowers on the other side of the ball.

Flowers scrambled for 21 yards to setup the game winning touchdown. The Red Raiders held South Florida to 132 total yards in the first 30 minutes and contained Flowers.

Like most people, you might be considering the option of replacing the phone entirely without attempting to have it checked out. And because it's so gradual, progressively shorter battery life is ignored by most people, until it's time for a new iPhone.

After a failed Tech drive, the Red Raider defense stripped the ball from McCants and it was recovered by Hill. Shimonek put the Red Raiders up 34-31 with a touchdown pass with 1:31 left to play. The Red Raiders ranked No. 4 in scoring offense the high-octane Big 12 and could be as big a challenge to the South Florida defense as Central Florida was.

South Florida's most impactful player is quarterback Quinton Flowers, who can make plays in the air and on the ground.

A litany of mistakes hampered the Red Raiders throughout the game in all phases of the special teams.

Penny ran for 221 yards, his fifth straight game of at least 200 yards. Texas Tech's defense allowed Flowers to lead the South Florida offense down the field for a go-ahead touchdown with 16 seconds left. Marquez Valdes-Scantling gained 133 yards on three catches. Vasher on the game's final play fell short of the end zone, completed 32 of his 59 pass attempts on the day. The Red Raiders results included: a field goal, turnover on downs, punt, and two interceptions before the break as both squads went into the locker room knotted up at 10-10.
