Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Attend First Official Royal Engagement Together

Their visit to Nottingham comes four days after Harry and Markle announced their engagement.

Prince Harry and his new bride-to-be-Meghan Markle travelled to Nottingham on Friday (Dec 1), for their first royal visit together since announcing their engagement. "They also want the day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too and are now working through ideas for how this might be achieved". "It is rare for shows of public affection between William and Kate, but it does happen, for example, they held hands while hiking up to the Tiger's Nest Monastery in Bhutan".

The couple were visiting a charity fair to mark World Aids Day, something particularly symbolic for Harry whose late mother Princess Diana is credited with playing a leading role in breaking down the stigma that was attached to the disease.
