Asus unveils Zenfone Max Plus(M1) with dual cameras, 18:9 FullHD

ASUS has unveiled its new smartphone, the ZenFone Max Plus (M1). The phone boasts of a 5.7-inch FHD+ full screen 2.5D curved glass display that has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen to body ratio of 80%. To begin with, the handset is listed in Russian Federation but is expected to launch in other markets within the next few days. Underneath the hood lies a MediaTek MT6750T processor with two storage and memory variants - 2GB RAM/16GB and 3GB RAM/32GB. This is ASUS' second smartphone to feature an 18:9 display - following the Pegasus 4S earlier this month - and it's a very similar product, packing a large battery and dual rear-camera setup, as well as closely-matched design. Under the hood, the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) has a mediocre MediaTek MT6750T SoC, which also powered the Asus Zenfone 3s Max launched past year. It also features a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. The secondary sensor on this device offers 120-degree wide-angle lens to take group photos. There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
