  • The Infiniti QX50 VC-Turbo is seen in Torrance California

The second-generation Infiniti QX50 promises world-first technologies, stand-out design and class-leading interior space - it will take on class incumbents BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC and the Audi Q5.

The single frontal image doesn't offer any surprises, looking very much like a toned-down version of the QX50 concept revealed at the Detroit motor show earlier this year (below). It adopts Infiniti's latest styling language, called Powerful Elegance, with a sophisticated front end and pouncing wheel arches. The vehicle is said to feature an all-wheel drive mode which gets from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 6.3 seconds and a front wheel mode that needs 6.7 seconds to get from 0 to 60.

Trump frustrated with Ivanka's condemnation of Roy Moore
Taylor made it clear that he was not happy with the way Moore had chosen to respond to the allegations and felt that further clarification was required.

According to Infiniti senior vice president of global design Alfonso Albaisa, the 2019 QX50 will not sacrifice interior space in the name of style. It's built using an industry-first SHF (Super High Formability - 980 MPa) high-tensile steel.

Infiniti's new VC-Turbo engine is the first to have the ability to change its compression ratio on the fly to adapt to performance and efficiency needs. Infiniti says that this engine can deliver the torque and efficiency of a four-cylinder diesel engine, but the engine runs on gasoline. The new QX50 loses its rear-wheel-drive proportions, but gains roughly 20 percent more cargo volume behind the second row. Strangely, these figures aren't actually that impressive compared with similar petrol rivals.

Parliament's Winter Session to be held from December 15 to January 5
The overlapping days with the Gujarat election would be avoided, he added. The government will also want to pass amendments to GST Bills.

Also present will be Infiniti's ProPilot driving assistance technologies, however drivers will still do the bulk of the work.

Other technologies include ProPilot autonomous drive support technologies to assist the driver when accelerating, braking and steering during single-lane carriageway driving, whilst still allowing them to retain ultimate control over the vehicle.

North Korea slams new measure against Nuclear development
Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohoma and Kyoto are among the Japanese targets, while Seoul, Degu and Jongwon in South Korea are also identified. China, moreover, still pours oil into North Korea, fueling an economy that otherwise survives on far less efficient coal.

The new model will go on sale next year following its public debut at the LA auto show next week. "It's the right vehicle at the right time in one of the world's fastest growing segments".
