According to a recent report, Apple is planning to launch their new iPhone SE next year. The device will be exclusively manufactured by Wistron in India, who is already manufacturing some of the current iPhone SE. If this is true, the rollout would be a departure from the original SE which first released on March 31, 2016 in more developed markets like China, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It is an exciting time for Apple fans as we are expected to see three new iPhone X variants and a new SE next year. The fact that the original iPhone SE found many takers is prove enough that people still like small screen smartphones. Beyond this, there is not much information available at the time of writing.

Earlier this month, a note from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested Apple's 2018 plans included a high-end device with a 6.5-inch OLED display, as well as a 5.8-inch device (also with OLED) and a 6.1-inch device with LCD. It is also reported that it will come with a price tag of $450. While Apple may decide to insert top-end features for the SE 2, the cost and over-all size should not be compromised, especially that the iPhone SE targets the users who are not fond of larger iPhone models.
