Google adds salaries to its job search tool

  • Google Search now shows estimated salary ranges for online job listings

According to the announcement on the Google Search Blog, salary information, location settings and application choices can now be added to display directly in search along with the job posting. Once you select your location, the job search tool will only show you listings within that area.

Google has announced a number of updates created to help job hunters in the US find gainful employment directly through Google Search. One of the smartest features of Google Jobs is that it aggregates jobs from multiple sites and knows when a job posting on multiple sites is for the same job.

For numerous jobs listed in the results Google also provides reviews and ratings of the employers sourced from what Google has described as trusted sites.

With the newly added features, people searching for jobs will see estimated pay ranges for positions based on things like the job title, location and the company posting the job. This would allow you to search Google for [jobs] or specific types of jobs or location of jobs and get job listings directly in the search results. A month later, that plan came to fruition as Google revealed tie-ups with Monster, Facebook, Glassdoor, and others to let job hunters find work and receive email alerts when new opportunities arise. With a bookmark button alongside each posting, saving is as simple as a single tap.

Northern Ireland's World Cup dream ended by Switzerland
It meant Switzerland's disputed penalty for handball in the first-leg victory in Belfast made all the difference. And Ricardo Rodriguez sent a 25-yard just wide of the right-hand post soon after.

Part of the Google for Jobs initiative, the job listing function makes it possible for employers to have open positions listed directly in search results. If the job is posted in multiple sites job seekers will be able to apply for it through their preferred site. The feature, which will be released in the coming weeks, will put all saved jobs into a separate tab that can be accessed from any device.

That's a handy feature, but Google is also rounding out this service with a couple of extra options.

The Saudis are in full support of President Trump's decision not to certify Iran as in compliance with Obama's treacherous "deal". Macron's visit this week to Abu Dhabi came amid renewed tensions between regional arch-rivals Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Today, PayScale, Inc., the leader in cloud compensation data and software for businesses and individuals, announced that Google collaborated with PayScale to provide compensation information for job seekers on the company's job search experience in Search.
