There's another twist in the legal battle involving the six-game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, and this one favors the NFL.

Last month, the National Football League requested an emergency stay of a judge's injunction that allowed Elliott to play indefinitely, saying the court didn't have subject matter jurisdiction to make the decision.

Russian Federation salvage draw with Iran in friendly
The World Cup finals run from June 14 to July 15 in 12 venues spread across 11 cities including Moscow, St Petersburg and Sochi. The victor of that match will face the CONCACAF federation's fourth-placed team for a spot in Russia .

According to the AP, the court lifted an injunction Thursday that blocked a six-game suspension for the star, which cleared the way for the NFL's punishment. Authorities in Columbus, Ohio, did not charge Elliott with a crime. The NFL filed in NY and they thought this would help them win this case having it away from Elliott's home state of Texas.

The NFLPA took its challenge to federal court in Texas.

The good news for the Cowboys is that they have a bye this week, which will give Elliott and the NFLPA some extra time to appeal the Fifth Circuit's ruling.

Nokia axes OZO VR camera development
The camera captured 4K images and video with help from eight wide-angle cameras, which came in a package that weighed 9.3 pounds. Lee, who previously served as Samsung North America's CEO, was hired just four months back as Nokia's new global president.

The NFL countered that it followed procedures under the league's labor deal and that the union improperly filed a lawsuit before the appeals process was complete. The league's headquarters is in Manhattan, not Texas, and other cases, including the fight between the league and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, were heard in that court.

Our models project Elliott for 1,067.2 rushing yards, 262.1 receiving yards, and 12.2 total touchdowns the rest of the season; if he is allowed to play the remaining 11 games, of course.
