Eleven people were injured on Saturday (Oct 7) when a auto mounted the pavement and ploughed into pedestrians near London'sNatural History Museum, leading to the driver's arrest, although officials ruled out a terrorist link.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Whilst inquiries continue it is believed a vehicle mounted the pavement and collided with a number of pedestrians". The majority of them have been discharged.
"Eleven people were found at the scene with varying injuries and nine of them have been taken to hospital, and this includes the man that was detained by police".
