ACCUWEATHER ALERT: Remnants Of Nate To Impact New York Area Monday

The National Weather Service is forecasting up to three-quarters of an inch tonight for Livingston County, with an additional 1 to 2 inches on Monday, Columbus Day.

Remnants of tropical storm Nate move through the southern Gulf Coast states this morning, tracking northeast.

We will start the morning with rain early as the remnants of Nate make its way into our area. There may be a few lingering showers across our eastern sections in the morning. The rain coverage decreases during the day with highs in the low to mid 80s. Highs on Monday will reach into the mid-70s with overnight lows falling into the mid-60s.

A warm up will once again return into next weekend with highs back in the low 80s.

Cooler weather is expected for Wednesday. That frontal boundary will stall out just south of southeast Virginia, but it'll be close enough that we'll need to keep a chance of showers in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday. The warmth and humidity today will lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms.
